In 2021, Charlie joined Inclenberg’s Texas office as Controller & Director of Accounting to oversee the firm’s accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting functions.  Charlie’s responsibilities include cash flow planning, oversight of tax preparation, and performance reporting.

Charlie previously worked for Ernst & Young for twelve years, most recently as a Senior Manager in the assurance practice.  There, Charlie was responsible for leading teams serving privately held real estate partnerships, REITs, SEC registered funds, and private equity funds.  He has experience with real estate valuations, business combinations, consolidation, and investment company reporting.  Charlie has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science from Texas A&M University.

Charlie serves as Treasurer and Board Member for the San Antonio chapter of HeartGift, a nonprofit that provides lifesaving heart surgery to children around the world.  He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

When he is not working, Charlie enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, working on his golf game, and fishing for speckled trout off the Texas coast.
